What pets do you have available? 

We have a large range of pets available and waiting to go to loving homes. We have puppies, kittens, birds, guinea pigs, fish, mice, rats, hermit crabs and more! More recently, we have also started stocking reptiles including turtles. 

Are you looking to adopt a certain type of pet? Please call us to check if we have what you are looking for. 

 

Where can I see what pets are available?

We make sure to frequently update our website so you can see what animals we have available for adoption online. Simply navigate to the ‘Adoption’ tab and you will be able to see our range of available pets. 

Not seeing what you’re looking for? We may have your pet coming to our store soon! Feel free to give us a phone call and we can let you know when your preferred breed or species is going to be available. 

 

Can I put a pet on hold?

We do not have a hold system, in order to ensure pets can go to the best home as quickly as possible. If you contact our store, we can let you know when a certain pet is going to be available in our store. 

 

Can I bring my current pet to meet the animals?

As we are located within a shopping centre, it is difficult to bring pets into our store. However, if you are looking to adopt a pet and are hesitant because of your current pets, please contact our staff, who will be glad to help.

 

What do I need to bring to adopt a pet?

You will need to register your details with us when you adopt a pet. You will need to bring photo identification; those who are under 18 will be unable to adopt a pet. If you are renting, you will need to bring a pet approval.

 

Do you sell pet supplies?

We sell all the products you need when you first adopt a pet. We stock a large variety of food for dogs, cats and small pets. We also stock toys, litter, and everything you need for worming and flea treatments.

Can I place my order online?

If you are looking to purchase pet food, pet goods or toys, you will be able to purchase these via our online store. 

However, adoptions will need to take place in person in our store. 

 

How much does standard shipping cost?

This will vary depending on where you are ordering from. The standard shipping cost will be calculated once you have items in your cart. 

 

How do I cancel an order?

You will be unable to cancel an order online. If you no longer wish to order your product, please contact one of Companion Petz’s staff members via email or phone, and we will be able to help. Please note, orders marked as dispatched or delivered will need to be returned before a refund can be issued. 

 

Can I collect my items in store?

Yes! During the checkout process, please make sure you select ‘Click & Collect’ as a delivery option. 

 

What payment options are available?

We currently accept a range of online payment options, including Mastercard, Visa, and PayPal. 

 

Where is Companion Petz located? 

You can find Companion Petz at Westfield Shopping Centre in Carindale. We are located on the lower floor, right near Big W.

 

Who is Earl?

Earl is a well-known and popular addition to Companion Petz. He is now 16 years old and is a favourite amongst visitors to the shop. 

When you visit Companion Petz, you’ll either find Earl in his cage or on the shoulders of one of our staff members.
